By the way, did you get your camera fixed? o:

cha, my dad and I worked on it and got it all fixed up.:P

I had to use a torx screwdriver end and put it where the broken part was. We had to drill it out too so we could glue the part in... it was scary, scary work, but it made it! :D

Ooooh, sweet sweet :D

That definitely sounds scary x________x
Especially since your camera is so expensive and what not!
But then, given you fixed it on your own, you probably saved a lot of money without having to take it to a specialist to get it fixed o.o

yeah... I don't remember how much it was gonna be. Fuji never recalled the model, but I read somewhere they'd repair it for free. But I'd have to find a Fuji specialty store, or ship it and wait all that time. :P

Oh wow, this is really an amazing place :omg: And very nicely captured, too :) The tree adds nicely to the scene. Are those 'steps' created by salt?

I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road - Stephen Hawking

It's not actually salt... it's calcium carbonate.:) But the rock that's left is called travertine. At least I believe that's how it works. The CaCO3 is in the water and when it evaporates, the CaCO3 is left and creates the terraces. Pretty much like salt would.^^

There are a couple of the trees like that there. I'm pretty sure it's the carbonate that killed them.:( But they make for such lovely photos!
